Is it ok to use a blowtorch to toast pitta in a field

Could also try heating up the bonnet of a nearby car (probably best to make sure all the paint is thoroughly burnt off the cooking are before putting the pitta on though).

Toast them before you go to the field if you're worried about getting arrested!

You need to toast the pittas because you need to create a chemical reaction (the Maillard reaction) where the carbohydrates and proteins to combine to create a delicious, sweet-tasting, toasted pitta bread.

im still alive.

I really don't get this thread. Why would you want assurances before you use a blow torch.

Fire is surely always the right answer.
