when i helped out the DJ at the local rock place the dj there was always sloping off for 15 mins with some girlie

this gave me the opportunity to play all the stuff me and my mates liked (AC\DC, maiden and other music you could stomp to) he used to get pissed off a bit cos the floor was always full when he came back and then used to empty again once the pretty biy shit started again.

sadly my gf at the time used to be there so I didnt get any action...

though it was on offer

so yes djs get to shag more... provided their GFs are not standing next to them all the time

Playing big clubs and festivals or being a 'name' DJ probably makes it much easier to pull.

Playing the early shift at Offline and the occasional party doesn't help at all. :(

Being able to mix helps as it show's you've got a good rythm.

It did seem a bit easier to pull back in my Djing days - but I reckon a lot of "the DJ effect" is just down to the fact that if you're going to DJ chances are you'll have to remain marginally more sober and coherent than a lot of the people around you...

you have`nt seen the DJ`S i know :D

Of course, this is usually in the kind of context where retaining the ability to stand upright behind a pair of decks and distinguish one record from another puts you one up most people...:D

Naaaa, it's more fun pissed.

I like a challenge, me.

girls regularly dance when i dj - does that count dr freud?

i think they might be either too shy, or perhaps they don't want to interrupt my set.......

otherwise.....no

oh i tell a lie - a couple once made it very clear to me that they were interested while i was playing, though i think it was cos i was wearing silver lipstick, rather than i was wowing them with my boney m / venga boys / gabba mixing stylee.....

well, I've been DJing for a few years now, and unfortunately I have yet to pull as a result of it, but I do have a few female fans that come to my gigs and give me lots of support, which is nice.
