Is Geert Wilders racist?

I think its often difficult to tell whether this latest wave of islamophobia is a thinly covered veil for racism or genuine dislike of the islamic and its practices.

How much does it matter, if the result is discrimination against a group of people for no good reason?

Not saying that pim fortuyn wasn't racist, of course, but I'd still say he was markedly different from other fascist party leaders. A gay guy at my old work used to say this too.

I dunno. They've definitely had a history of being anti gay whilst being closet gays, but there aren't many quite like Pim Fortuyn, who probably would not have been welcome within say the BNP, with his advocacy of legal drugs and gay rights.

Just the same as their talk on immigration. They have always pretended to be against it but of course there not. Still takes in a few mugs though!

I just came across this video while looking at the website the BNP.

This video, apparently produced by one 'Green Arrow', I note has similar titles to a 'Green Arrow' who has been outed elsewhere as Paul Morris, a BNP activist and alleged conspiracy theorist? Paul, runs a blog that has been described as both 'anti-Semitic and anti-Moslem'. An amazing feat in itself.

I understand that the BNP too campaign against homosexuals, are pretty crap on equal rights for women and their idea of culture is fucking boring, with military marching songs and Vera Lynn 24/7, ffs look at the videos these people produce. It's utter shite.

You're right to describe Fortuyn as a homosexual though, but not as a former leader of Geert Wilders party, but rather the founder of, as you would expect given the name, the Pim Fortuyn List.
