Is Due South the greatest show in TV history?

The guy who played Ray appears in this weeks episode of House :D

Where's House? Oh, is it on Satellite on something? When do normal people with normal channels get it?

Yeah, which Ray, the first one or the 2nd young whippersnapper one?

I used to love Due South. What station is it on now then?

It's all, and I mean all, on you tube. Search for Du3 $outh

I can't seem to find bits of one or two episodes.

The blonde from SG1 ironically plays a military scientist investigating UFOs in one episode. And Trinity from the Matrix plays the sister of a mob boss in one.

oh, I don't like to think of him getting old :o:(

It's not the lines on the face, it's the haircut and outfit that makes him look like it's the headshot for the lesser known member of an obscure new romantics band doing a 2008 reunion tour.

Good show. Filmed in Canada, ironically.

Canadian show filmed in Canada shocker!!!

Actually what is curious is the amount of American TV shows filmed in Canada, from 21 Jumpstreet, And the Christ Carter series (Millennium, X-Files, Lone Gunmen), Stargate, Dark Angel, and the Highlander series.

Interesting. I thought it was done at Pinewood Studios.

Don't try and be sarcastic Johnny, it's like hearing a literate Australian, it just sounds unnatural.

The world would be a better place if there were a lot more people like Benton Fraser.

He is/was my character idol and it is without exaggeration that without his influence I woudln't be the charming, well mannered, quirky loveable human being I can sometimes claim to at least aspire to. Who knows what sort of rails I would have fallen off had my life path not crossed my BBC2 6pm sessions with Bent, Ray n Deif.

And then...AND THEN it turns out the Leslie Neilsen is his DAD.

First post makes it sound good but it was in fact boring as hell. Though thinking about it I'm pretty sure I could write up ugly betty, glee, hermans head and desperate housewives to sound just as quirky.

I hate to say it, but this is true of me too :o

I had a huge man crush on this guy when I was younger. I've just gone and looked him up and I must say I'm dissapointed.

It was a sneakily excellent show - good in unexpected ways.

marry me. I look like Benton Fraser. Honest. Theres was a minor point five years ago, when I actively examined moving to Canada and becoming a Mountie based entirely on this show.

PICS.

That's true - he's not actually aging that badly, just very ungracefully.

I never realised Diefenbaker was deaf.

You are joking aren't you? :hmm:

He lipreads. Well ok, Fraser's not convinced he lipreads but he nevertheless speaks to Dief so Dief can see his lips moving

It was explained how he lost his hearing in the pilot episode
