Definitions are a diversion, it is the expression of preference which is the issue here and such preference is based on instinct and any definitions are a product of that expression necessary for their survival, so definitions are not immutable.

The trouble is, no group depends for its biological - as opposed to cultural - existence on its ability to make prejudiced distinctions. The only group which is constitutively prejudiced, and dependent upon the ability to make prejudiced distinctions for its very surivival is, unsurprisngly, "the prejudiced".

However, for those outside this group, the disapperance of "the prejudiced" - is postively to be welcomed, just as we would welcome the disappearance of "wife-beaters" or "paedophiles".

In short, so denying people the 'right' to be racist might threaten the survival of any group for which racism is constitutive. Excellent - We don't give a flying fuck. Ending racism does not require the end of white race, just the end of white racists.
