Don't like it much myself though, might very occasionally eat a Kitkat if I'm in need of an energy boost but chocolate on it's own makes me want to brush my teeth as I don't like the aftertaste

It's not over-rated - imHo. Not a day goes by without me eating some choccy - usually about a bar's worth. Or a few brownies. Or some chocolate cake. The only cake I will eat that ISN'T chocolate, is walnut layer cake - cos it's got a sickly-sweet layer of buttercream int middle

I have recently been enjoying raw chocolate. No sugar or cocoa butter, just chocolate.

I like a candy bar from time to time, but they're not strictly chocolate, are they. I mean, proportionally, there's very little chocolate going on in a Mars or KitKat. The cocoa is listed, like, fourth or fifth on the ingredients (sugar is invariably the first ingredient on the list), and even in a Galaxy the cocoa percentage is only, like, 20% or something.

Green & Blacks do a rather good milk chocolate with 70% cocoa for people who find black chocolate too bitter.

I think "chocolate" bars are overrated, and real chocolate is wonderful wonderful stuff, but not better than sex.
