Thought the water pressure seemed a bit weak about an hour ago, but then convinced myself that I was just imagining it.

Just gone to get a glass of water, and... nothing.

We're down by the corner of Wiltshire/Gresham Road btw

No water for any of Canterbury Crescent, Brixton cop shop, Canterbury Arms possibly the rec although I believe they have a fairly substantial indoor reservoir. Burst water main on Brixton Road according to Thames Water. Apparently happened about 19:00. And will be working 'in a few hours'

When I was coming home on the bus about 7ish, there was a massive burst water main on Brixton Rd, just by Villa Rd.

Brixton Road has been sealed off and lined with Thames Water vans from Villa Road to near Loughborough Junction since sometime before 8 tonight. Water all over the road but none in my taps. Or in my loo.

Here is sunny Nunhead a water main - just recently replaced, the 100 plus year old one had never given any probs - burts 3 days ago, since when three fucking bus routes have been sent up our street - I now wake up to look at slack jawed arse wipes on their way to work!!!!
Its o n a fucking hill with speed bumps, the fucking nightbus dropped some git off at their front door with a bis squeal of brakes at 3 am fucking am last night!!!!!!!

Brixton road northbound is still being diverted into Villa Road.

The water coming out of the taps is very cloudy. It does seem to clear after a minute but not sure if its safe to drink.

I think that mains water routinely has chlorine in it - on the grounds that if there are any leaks into the water supply they will be dealt with by the chlorine.

The water pressure is currently so low that the boiler is having problems.

No shower until whatever is wrong gets fixed.
