Does it? I just hang 'em up still wet, and if they're particularly creased hang 'em in the bathroom whilst I'm having a shower. Ironing is for ultra-smart occasions only.
Ironing is great if you have the tools for the job. Don't skimp on an iron or ironing board!!! The pair cost me over £100 and it's (embarrasingly) a joy to iron

I iron jeans (no creases) cause I'm very tall and had trousers that showed off my socks throughout my school years and have become paranoid about any space between trousers and shoes. I rekon ironing them squeezes an extra quarter inch of inside leg out of them (probably completely untrue but it makes me happy ok?). They get a bit of crumple in them very easily and certainly don't look ironed in the same way suit trousers do.
I bloody hate ironing............luckily i only have to do one shirt and one pair of trousers (school uniform for the youngest)on a sunday night, the eldest does his own and i do mine if and when i need to.........
