maybe its just a reflection that people on urban75 are generally scruffier than your average then!sojourner said:Bollocks![]()
I iron shirts for work - but don't bother ironing anything else.

Some of my silk shirts were dry clean only, but I washed them anyway. That's when I found out that you can't wash some silk shirts!Guineveretoo said:Why would anybody dry clean a shirt?

I don't HAND WASH!!! Except for certain personal bits and piecesViolentPanda said:You can hand-wash all silk, but you have to use soap flakes or non-bio washing powder, because bio washing powder will eat your silk for breakfast.

I wash my towel much much less than once a week - I just do it when I think it's been a while, which is never very often.waterloowelshy said:ill admit to ironing my t shirts. most people in work seem to as well. though most people in work suggest that they wash their towels daily - which i find unbelievable - i find washing my towel once a week is fine - i mean im clean when i get out of the shower! maybe ill have to start a poll to see how long most people think is normal to use a towel for - daily washing cant be right? can it?

Hang them out to dry and folded does the trick for me. The few creases that are on them will drop out after being worn for half an hour anyway.![]()
I voted 'don't have an iron' which isn't strictly true - my gf has one, no idea where it is though. It only comes out for weddings
Where do you hang them when they're drying?kittyP said:I dont keep them on hangers, just dry them on them....
... actually I do often keep them on hangers as they often stay were they dried till i wear them.

my wardrode is lined with t shirts on hangers - in fact everything is on hangers. much easier to see and i get to wear freshly ironed t shirts every time. no looking scruffy and feels great. i like everything ironed.mr steev said:Ah, that's ok then![]()
I imagined wardrobes lined with loads of t-shirts and vest tops on hangers.![]()
