There's some truth in what you say. The problem is that you gloss over or ignore the many problems associated with the time of US hegemony.

Can't see it happening. Short of anything else the Chinese will be pissed off.
I understand they take about 20% of Iran's oil production and have a massive investment there.
Now Bush is about gone we may see a better US. Hope so.
but which "Belgian Empire" is gone? It was still a constitutional monarchy last time I was there. Which was (...mmmm... I must think...mmmm...) I think 13 days ago. And so are The Netherlands, where I was a bit longer ago but since then no Great revolution happened and so is Denmark still a constitutional monarchy last time I was there and I didn't hear of any Great Revolution there either and so is the UK last time I heard about it (maybe a UK member here can correct me if I missed the Event of the Great Revolution).

We need to look back thousands of years to find a world without

Define 'free', for starters. You seem to be assuming that any country that holds regular elections is free. This is very far from being the truth.
Secondly you seem to be implying that these countries have become democracies because of US interventions. Again, the level of ignorance this demonstrates is staggering.

1989 - Only about 40 countries are free.
2008 - about 150 are free out of approx 200.

The Cold War saw millions die, the USA was up against two Superpowers trying to take over the world,
but the 'good guys' won . Good Guys meaning the forces of freedom and democracy, (every army contains
lunatics - just like every blog, no offence its just a fact)

Some glitch seems to be making it repeat over and over a bunch of phrases that aren't even factually accurate.
If I was the experimenters I'd reboot the machine at this point. Or possibly just boot it.

How can they do that with the most powerful country in the world constantly nudging/bludgeoning/slaughtering them into free markets and bogus representative 'democracy'?
During the cold war, western friendly dictators had to be anti communist to survive, so lots of
democratically minded people suffered hugely, due to AMERICAN POLICY, I think the USA
employed 'overkill' (quite literally sometimes) hence 'mistakes' leading to current
democratically elected South American leaders being very Anti American, Anti Bush.
However these same democratically elected leaders, including Putin etc, owe their
current positions to - yes you guessed it, AMERICAN POLICY. tHE Cold War killed millions.

There are non-cold war conflicts that confuse - kashmir, ireland, israel etc.
South Korea was a success that Vietnam was intended to be.

There are old established democracies, and newer ones. Personally I like
what I heard about Poland, every time theres an election a new party
gets power, like the electorate are going through a menu.
Putin is a worry, and so Russia is a new democracy with 'problems'.
Much better than soviet union that AMERICAN POLICY helped to end.

dies of toothache, a crime someone should swing for (maybe GWB).
They spend billions of dollars for promoting global freedom and stopping dictators

Because without American involvement, others like Britain, U.N. the
West in general would have nothing to follow.
There would have been a world controlled by either the soviet union
or the nazis or whatever would have replaced their involvement.
Is that really the best you can do?
In that case I raise you no England/no English/no typing in this language at all.
In fact, what I heard of this was that the www was invented by a 1 UK & 1 Belgian citizen who worked together on a project and sought and found a way to communicate faster than through the usual methods.
Typical for the USA to steal the idea, put it in practice and then claim it is their invention.
Take out all foreigners contributing and having contributed to the US economy, education, no matter what level of society and what does it have left?
