Multiple rocket launchers, howitzers. The night sky has been lit up with flashes ahead of me. It's incessant.
This is the 'shock and awe' that has been talked about in recent weeks. We are in a column with the third infantry. We have stopped for a few seconds.

Ah, this is too easy. If you'd bothered to check the date of the article you linked to you may have noticed it was dated Feb 97. What year are we in now?

Check the CIA Factbook on Iraq - as of 2001 there were at least 12500 internet users - a figure likely to have much increased by now.

Sure, but there is 1 ISP, which is likely to be govt. run, and I'll bet £100 that ALL of those Internet users are heavily govt. scrutinized prior to being allowed access. The average Iraqi will have no Internet connectivity. The above page is almost definately set up by an Iraqi govt. agent.
