The Council is "consulting" on borough wide controlled drinking zone. Consultation finishes end of July.
Here is online questonnairre. It has a lot of leading questions u might want to skip.Even if you are opposed to borough wide zone and want zones only for problem areas .
My experience of consultation is that the powers that be want to do something. So the consultation is set up to get the "right" answer.

I was walking home the other eveing with a couple of people around 12.00 i think.
A rather drunk couple were having an argument by Windrush Square. The woman flung around in a fury and saw me and carried on screaming and tried to hit me. I managed to duck out of the way, they just carried on screaming at each other.

Last week I was hassled by some problem drinkers on the down escalator at Green Park tube station. Judging from the way they were dressed I find it unlikely that they had been drinking on the street. I would say it is fairly safe to say that they had been drinking in a licensed bar in the Mayfair/Picadilly area.
This is not the first time that I have seen problem drinkers in Green Park station.
I feel that the only sensible response to this situation is to enforce an alcohol exclusion zone to everywhere within walking distance of Green Park tube. Because it is clear that most of the problem drinking is taking place in licensed premises, the ban will need to extend to these as well.

From your posts, you strike me as the sorta person who lives in brixton coz you can't quite afford cla'am. You gotta take the rough with the smooth.
