Interview: Advice please

I can never think of any good questions to ask the interviewers. Any suggestions?

I normally ask more about the position...why is the post vacant (need to know if the last person couldnt hack it), promotional opportunities etc interview is a two way thing innit so I also wanna know if I really want to work with 'em

Keep it simple!

Ask something banal about the company/organisation that you know full well the interviewer will be easily able to answer, yet which shows some interest in the aforementioned company/organisation.

Think of it as professional small talk - don't bother trying to be too "clever".

Trust me, I've been put on the spot before by very keen candidates - it's really not necessary to be too enthusiastic, just show that you've a modicum of interest in what they do and you should be fine.
