Interpol: I can't hear what any fuss might be all about. Nothing special IMO.

Some crap, some good. Both Lps a bit uneven and the songs are rather too similiar in style. But better than fucking Razorlight.

Not crap - much better than a lot of the ober-hyped dross that's around at the moment. Albums are a bit patchy, but they're fucking great live. "Evil" is one of the best singles of the lats 12 months.

my mate thinks they're top. i quite like track 9 on antics... (its not a single).

sign of the times when they're one of the best mainstream bands around thou...

Rest of the stuff Ive head is OK - sounds a bit like there treading the same downbeat, miserablist path though.

Could go on to become a very good band. Could dissappear up thier own arses.

Reactiviate this therad in two years time and we shall know for sure.

From what little I've heard they're just another one of those bands that all sound the same and play on the Other Stage at glasto on a Saterday afternoon,
that all the indie kids like but everybody else finds a bit tedious and old hat.

Agreed. Although The singles on the second album are better.

I like them at their most poptastic: Roland, Obstacle 1, Slow Hands, one of those remixes - the albums seem completely unnecessary.
