i've not said it was a mistake, i was quite definite on that point. as for being an atrocity, i think it's fairly obvious. as for what have been done instead, not bombing dresden's an obvious solution.
But you know the arguements for bombing dresden,hamburg etc.....How can you really say they were wrong?
