Yeah I've basically forgiven Defoe for that. Of course, what Ince did was ridiculous but it was almost 20 years ago now. Time to move on...

Actually something that should have been pointed out when all the (mostly) handbags at the West Ham game was taking place last week was that Brazil and Argentina have quite serious football violence, there are sometimes shootings at games, and that didn't affect Brazil's 2014 bid at all.

Yeah i know they have hooligan trouble, far far worse than what happens here. I've never understood the mindset of football violence, takes the fun out of it imo.
