I would have been in a modest people carrier with Chuck Taylor the tour manager, the bonkers bloke from Fundamental and Gráinne from catering.

Gráinne was a beautiful person .. a fantastic cook and great fun to be around ... ??????
We discussed our children and the incredibly difficult balancing act we had to maintain as folks on a rock n roll tour with day to day responsibilities .. the loneliness that entails .. we had an invisible bond.
