Incident on Coldharbour Lane

Yes. That is what they want, to stop women having abortions. They presumably think that protesting outside abortion clinics is a more effective way of doing this than protesting outside parliament.

Yes, but how does it achieve its effect? By intimidating the women as they are actually on their way to have the abortion. That shouldn't be allowed.

Last I knew you had to apply at Charing Cross Station to protest outside parliament and for some distance around it.

A ridiculous law, hopefully soon to be changed.

And I agree. It would depend on your definition of intimidation. I would have thought that it was against the law to use intimidation to stop someone going about their lawful business. It may be that the law doesn't consider singing hymns outside intimidation but shouting abuse at women right in their faces is. I don't know and I don't know what they have been doing exactly.

They're still there. Handing out leaflets now right outside the gates, right under the nose of the cops - what the fuck is wrong with these people? Like the girls inside don't have enough on their plate. At least the rain doesnt look like letting up. Cunts.

I got neutered there as well - does all kinds of M&F Gyno stuff

As I limped out, there was a bloke reciting some bollocks from the bible, stood at the front gate. If I hadnt been in utter fuckin agnoy, I would have asked him if killing me sperms was also a sin.

If you really want a counter demo that would flummox them rather than bolster their self-righteousness, turn up with a home-made banner saying "Let He Who Is Without Sin Cast The First Stone" and stare intently at each of them individually.

Blow their minds.

I'd hesitate to say anything that backed up their view that abortion was a sin.
Probably better for someone to sue them for harassment or causing anxiety to people in a heightened state of distress or something.
Whatever it is, it must cost them money.

Many of these churches are just fronts for a slick pastor to take advantage of religious sheep and make some money from their hopes and fears.
If you hit them in the wallet, they will not come back. If the big cheese on top finds that there is a cut in his income due to unwise protests, although this would be more of a long-term strategy to ensure they didn't think of doing it again.

After that I'm sure they'll direct their attentions elsewhere -like a soup kitchen or some rehabilitation centre or something to help the young mothers who chose not to have an abortion.
That is what really irks me about this evangelical flavour of Xtianity.
Once upon a time it was about charity and helping those who were disadvantaged.
Now its about hellfire and brimstone and having a go at somebody else.
