In praise of last minute winners

Bastards!
Actually, given that most Dagenham supporters are West Ham fans who can't afford Upton Park, they probably went home thinking about another game entirely

Which is even worse when you think about it. They didn't even care that much

In 2010, my team, Luton, was second in the league to Oxford (with whom we had a lot of needle at the time). We were to play each other, and the winner would go top. We were 0-1 down at full time, and scored two in injury time, to win it - the last one being scored direct from a corner! The place went mental; the Old Bill bashed the bloke next to me, and cut his head open (though the copper got thrown down the stairs for his trouble).

The same season, I went to there place, but it was sold out in the away end, so we bunked into the home end. We chose the very worst part of the ground; right where the home and away fans face off. I aroused suspicion by my lack of goal celebration when they scored, to the extent that the bloke next to me kept asking me questions to catch me out. And I nearly got away with it until some bright spark in the Luton section recognised me and was shouting my name and waving to me!

1996 Scottish Cup, Celtic 1-0 down against Dundee United with 90 seconds to go..... Cue Pierre van Hooijdonk and Andy Thom

Got goosebumps watching that. What a great goal from Thom to clinch it aswell, not that Big Pierre's wasn't up to scratch.

There was a good wee bit of play ending with a beautifully timed and weighted ball through at 0:55 - 1:05 of the vid.
If only, Jackie  .
