smashthestate has a regular slot on her radio show called Track For Thatcher's Dispatch. It's been going for well over a year now and they still haven't run out of songs about wanting Thatcher to die, although some of them have been a bit bizarre - i'm still not convinced that The Land Of Make-Believe by Bucks Fizz has a hidden anti-Thatcher theme.
 
As one of the least grown up Urban posters on here, I would just like to say to all the peeps who go on about Thatcher dying and having a big party to grow up. I don't give a monkey's about Thatcher and would certainly never suck her cock in praise, but seriously, all this "have a knees up when Thatcher dies" is so fucking tedious and pathetic. Oh yeah, that big free party when Ted Heath died back in the summer of 05, that was wicked. How we laughed as we danced on his grave, before we all went off and smoked some hash on our allotments and had really deep conversations about the spirituality of lentils. Even when we are having fun, we're still protesting about something.

Funny you should say that. I went to see Chumbawamba the night that John Smith died. I wasn't going to bother, but then i heard about that and just knew that they'd put on a good show. Purely out of respect, of course. And i was right, they were on top form. A good night was had by all.
