Watched this tonight, was excellent.
For some reason I'd just looked at the title thought it was a poncy guardian reading lar de dar romantic arthosue film and not watched it before.![]()
That's what comes from judging a book by it's cover (if you know what I mean)

Fiennes' character is clearly a brother to Ben Kingsely in thingymajig (a fact which is even referenced at some point in the film)
Hehe,
Me & the Mrs thought this last summer at the cinema.
The film we wanted to see was sold out so I said What about In Bruges? - I was skimming the Guardian & it was in their films to see thingy - she said what is it? I said - dunno, think it's some arty euro thriller.
We came out very glad that the other film had been sold out![]()
Where is this reference you speak of? Nobody else seems to have noticed it?

I so wanted to like this and maybe I had built it up too much but I really didn't enjoy it.
I felt no empathy for any of the characters, apart from maybe Brendan Gleeson's, didn't enjoy the acting, apart from Brendan Gleeson again, didn't think the pacing was very good and thought the plot was a bit obvious in parts.
And Ralph Fiennes was wicked bad.
Sorry but found it really, really diappointing![]()

Dude.. watch it, the film girl that throws her card over her shoulder is worth 10 x cassie...

Did anyone say it's shit yet?
I think this is one of the films by which you can judge people's character by - if they like it, good stuff - probably an ok person. If they don't, won't have too much in common with them they are probably not worth bothering with. Same goes with Room for Romeo Brass
Are you 14 or something?
