In a very fortunate position...

Number 2, definitely

Windfarms and governments are boring - fashion is a pretty sexy industry :)

? just noticed this - Governments do all sorts of interesting things, like war, education, mend the motorways, windfarms, monitor your emails etc.!!!

Do not work for the government. It is depressing and beaurocratic and a nightmare.

I'd take job 1.

I already work for the Govnermernement.

Put 'em all off (well, one of them has delayed the request for a final decision) until end of next week!

Hahaha, I am such a whore.

Just as well, I was hospitalised yesterday.... not a good time to be new-jobbing.

You out now? Or posting from hospital?

What's up?

i was holding 2 job offers with the possibility of a third (temp one)

I chose one - but with that sort of decision, you'll never know if it was the right decision:D

Part of me is intruiged at what job you do to be offered positions in such diverse places!

The other part of me is sad to hear about the marital problems. :(

Oh that's good news! Congratulations and fingers crossed the choice will be aces

cheers mate, i think i made the right one, it's a housing co-op, should be fairly free of all the nonsense that went on at the housing association i used to work for, the other two were with larger organisations

Smaller & co-op, both good things, especially in Third Sector. I hope you're happy there ... sounds like you will be ... good decision. Can we help you go after the last b*stards now? :D

Yeah, out after a few hours.

Was a diabetes thing.

may start a thread now i think about it.

Bastards.

Actually, now I come to think about it, there aren't that many threads about diabetes. Could be a good un.

Glad it's stabilised sufficient to let you out :D

Does stress etc do stuff to your metabolic rate and hence diet/insulin requirements I wonder?

Look after yerself dude, fuck that circulation and eyesight thing, nightmarish!

Argh, I can't feel to type and I can't see the screen............!

May be true any day :hmm:

.. in that I'm holding 3 good job offers.

1. with a wind farm company, travel to mainland Europe, US and Ireland, 10k pay rise.

2. with a fashion firm, UK wide travel, France, Italy and 15k rise plus a car

3. with Government, dealing with hospital aquired infections, 7k pay rise plus home based.

what sort of prior experience do you have where you have incredibley divergent job offers from a wind farm company, a house of fashion and the health dept. of the government?

I took the windmill one, start in a few weeks..... comes with a merc 220 and free petrol.

Ahhh, how Iwill enjoy trying to counteract the green effect of the wind turbines by driving up and down the M6 in third.
:D
