Important changes to US Visa Waiver

From early 2009 filling out of visa waivers on board your flight to the US will end.

You will have to complete the form on-line before you travel. Once you complete the form you may have to wait up to 72 hours to get authorisation to travel to the US. However once you get authorisation, it remains valid for multiple entries for two years.

So if there is a possibility that you may have/want to travel to the US, you may wish to fill out the form in advance and let it lay on file, rather than having a last minute mad scramble and perhaps not being able to travel.

Read the instructions. It states if travel information is available, it is an optional field.
