Yeah, same goes for Henry Cullen - I can't get over how many big names I've heard playing / imitating his Hydraulix tunes in the US and abroad. Not that I can blame them, it's all so BANGING!!

Don't know his second name.... If so, yeah i find his style fucking wicked and quite distinct. I heard it playing in a seaside gift shop in in venezuela (selling toy sharks and postcards) - very odd. I had to have a bit of a dance there and then.

all these crews were out in london til only a couple of years back. It was fucking huge multi-rigers in office blocks every w/e until abt what, 2002/2003?

After that Headfuk were the real scen leaders in terms of awesome parties (even if i do think there coice of music, breakcore, was dull and unispiring). They still are imho, and they were out this week with a load of decent rigs (anyone go?) like stonka...

I have to say I missed it if Insanity, crossbones and Stinky Pink (mates of mine) were playing in the last couple of years... last gigs I heard of from them were betwee 1999 and 2002. But then I don't live in the Big Smoke no more :(

Are Shtonka still playing out in any form?
 
did he used to be called chris lowe?
This is a general enquiry to anyone who knows really.
just trying to get my head round who he is.

Crossbones have done a few things in clubs etc in the last few years iirc (but i cant remember seeing them recently)

Haven't seen Insanity since the last century iirc!

I played on Phil Stinky Pink's rig at some party near Heathrow in about 2002/2003, last time i saw him out iirc and hadn't seen them out for a bit.

someone said to me recently Stonka changed names but i might be wrong on that! i still see the main mateys name on DJ listings sometimes (but his name escapes me right now)

I can answer you that one, it was from the Blakes 7 tv series.
The Liberator was the name of their spaceship.

Chris must be one of the most loved people in the London Techno scene, he is always smiling and puts his heart and soul into a performance even when he must be so tired from having already done two other gigs that night.
You can tell it isn't just about the money for him - he will play for friends for free if he can possibly fit it into his tight schedule.
