It was hell watching the open bus tour of Liverpool though wasn't it
:(

Refuses to be the first to jump in with a 'was the roof stolen' awful poor stereotypical dig

:( You's lot were robbed!! The diffence was just one man.

Great game though, best I've seen in a while and I think you Spanners can be rightly proud of your teams efforts this year....

It was a strange game, It never got going before we had gifted them two goals and they just sat back then and we bossed it, they got a fluckey third and I thought we were done for until Gerrard stepped up with the shot. We had so many players off the pitch I was wondering where the goal was going to come from. I got some good photos, I'll put them up later.
Steven Gerrard accompanied by 9 other nomads and 1 extremely crap in open play Spaniard won the FA Cup Final

Much like the rest of Liverpool's season
This is the extremely crap in open play Spaniard who kept how many clean sheets this season?. And as for the one man team - Alonso, Kewell, Garcia were all off the pitch - he was the only first choice midfielder on at the end....

Right...tell me if he hadn't have fucked up several times in the first 90 whether extra time would have been needed?

Golden Gloves my arse! PFA (the real awards) give it to Seamus Given

You havent answered the question.

He fucked up once, first goal had nothing to do with him, are you genuinely suggesting ANY professional keeper would have stayed on his line and let the ball roll across the six yard line ? Second was just a fumble that ordinarily would have gone unpunished but ultimately he should have held, third was an outright fluke, every keeper on gods green earth would have been expecting a cross, even konchesky was expecting a cross.

He's made other mistakes this season, as has cech and guess what, schmeichel used to make fucking loads of them, the era of the perfect keeper who can catch every cross and hold everything twatted in his direction is long gone due to the balls being lighter than a 99p flyaway from the corner shop, the fact is he's kept 30+ clean sheets this season and remains an outstanding goalkeeper.

I'm fairly certain the golden gloves are infact, a real award, I'll get you a picture of them if you like, though the trophy is probably golden in the same sense that the golden joystick was.

Given, in fairness, has to make a lot of saves per game because of the state of that defence, it may well look nice for the cameras but as any half arsed pundit will tell you, being a great shot stopper is a small part of goalkeeping, being able to command the area, reading of the game and inspiring confidence in your defence are more important.

I'm very tempted to make a pie chart detailing the distribution of goals and assists amongst the top sides so we can actually see who the 'one men sides,' infact are, the nearest to Gerrard's 23 is Cisse on 19 followed by Crouch on 14.

Henry scored 33 goals this season, the nearest to him was van persie on 12.

Gerrard has a habit of performing the spectacular when Liverpool need it and he deservedly gets a lot of the headlines but Liverpool are a very strong side all over the pitch, nonsensical to claim otherwise.

(And of course we all saw what happened in the last merseyside derby when Gerrard was sent off, Alonso and Sissoko, two outstanding midfielders, propelled Liverpool to a 3-1 victory.)
