If you could bring a dead rock star back to life

hendrix then. he still had lots of music left in him, was only really starting to get confident as a songwriter.

I'm not so sure Hendrix wouldn't have turned into some jazz funk outfit along with the Band Of Gypsies project. But I'd like to bring him back to to see.

I would also like to bring back Jeff Buckley back too. He definately had more good music left in him.

Lennon was past it by the time he was gone. So was Cobain. And Presley.

Nah. I really think Kurt had a lot of great songs left in him. Some of the last stuff Nirvana did was their best. I reckon they had one more great album to put out (less grunge, more melodic) and then Kurt would've gone on to have a solo career that was a total departure.

Well, I wish that's what would've happened, at any rate.

Not strictly a rock star but i'd definitely bring back this fella:

he certainly lived a rock star lifestyle but played swing instead.

Bit of a dull choice but Elvis for me - would like to see him do a Tom Jones, recording with a load of young 'uns and still be playing Vegas :D

Janis Joplin without a doubt. She meant soooo fucking much to me growing up that I actually started crying when I saw her old Porsche at the Summer of Love exhibition at the Tate :o

I'd bring Richy from the Manics back and go "Look what they did to the Manics, look how rich and crap they are without you" and he would go and jump off the bridge again

a pointless excercise

Jeff Buckley, just to kick him in the nuts for butchering hallelujah and being an all round whiney falsetto voiced tosser.
