If the Tories got in at the next Gen Election

Just reading that they want to deduct housing benefit off families who have more than one kid who have their own rooms as being "over housed" and pretend that foster children don't exist for the purposes of housing benefit. Also for the purposes of benefits, foster parents are no longer classed as having a job.

whut :facepalm::facepalm::mad:

Thinking the unthinkable maybe.

Would it be so bad if the Conservatives won the next General Election? What's the worse that could happen really...

...The continued buttfucking of the UK in the name of 'the city'...
...Withdrawal from the EU...
...The final coup de grace delivered to the NHS...
...A final assault on remaining public services in the name of 'efficiency'...

...and probably a lot more nastiness besides...

E2A: d'oh, thought this was a thread about the NEXT GE in 2014/15 -then read the date for the OP and :facepalm:

'The Conservatives have drawn level with Labour in the first opinion poll conducted since the summit. The Mail on Sunday poll found that 62% favoured Cameron's veto.'

is this going to be Camerons 'Falklands' moment?, will it continue especially if the EU explodes or will it fizzle out when the consequences become clear,

Don't worry, I thought that as well.

And I was thinking, what do people think will happen if Labour win the next GE, whether under Miliband or anyone else? Do they think it will make much difference, given that Blair tried, successfully, to out-Tory the Tories?

Essentially yes, they do.

This is an aricle about it,
