If Leeds United lose and Hull City win...

Yeah. Unlucky, Christ. The way you've handled yourself throughout this thread makes me feel genuinely sorry that you have to witness your team humbled in the way they have been.

That Star Dove, on the other hand.....:p

Cheers dude

It deffo took the edge off it by not sitting by my pc listening to it, cricket world cup on the telly, biting my finger nails

Best to be on the riverbank walking to Kew for a curry, munted

Got there at five and couldn't understand why the Leeds score wasn't final as they wouldn't turn the telly up fo me (probably cos I kept muttering "feck off yer cunt" as another text message came though)

That, as they say, is football

:)

:( :(

Im clinging to the 'perhaps its for the best in the long run - clear out the dead wood - fresh start etc' but Im not really convinced.

Lots of talk about going into administration, all the clubs assests being sold off and starting next season with points deducted - and all with Ken the Kunt presiding over everything.

Don Revie was fucking right about the gypsy curse.

Woops, that's fucked it! 88 minutes and they get an equaliser, and Derby lost yesterday as well!

Luckily I was 24 hours into a 48 hour beer and drugs bender
so was very confused as text after text came though calling me all the names under the sun, laughing at the plight of my team, and demanding money from outstanding bets

Still going through the ifs and buts in my head so that's a sign of it not sinking in properly yet

Cardiff, fucking hell! Yer bastards!

I'm playing myself tonight and we haven't won in 11 games.....

:)
ha -48 hours... I've only just come round now enough to check what happened.

So does this mean we can rip the seats up and get the cop back then? or do we have to go 4th division for that? I'd buy a season ticket for the cop no problem (well if it was at decent prices not 30 odd quid a ticket still).

Do we get rid of the chelsea cast off's now then, maybe get some people in to run the thing who actually give a fuck about leeds instead of people who've spent most of their lives taking abuse from us.

Just heard on the radio - Leeds may be in receivaship within 10 days and could start the next season docked 10 points already !

If they go into receivership now, it's still this season, so 10 pts will come off their current (relegation) total, so start next season afresh, surely.......

.... Pleeeeeeze......

Still sly that - punishing the fans for management cock ups ( didn't something like that happen to Swindon ? )

I don't think it works like that, sadly.

It's happened to a few teams, although Swindon were up to dodgier stuff than that iirc.

I don't see what's wrong with it though. Teams going into administration can gain an advantage over other teams still struggling with their debts. And the 'punishing the fans' thing doesn't make any sense. You could apply that to ANY punishment dealt out to a club for anything.

Frankly I would kill to be in the division Leeds are in next year so I can't see their problem.

As a Leeds fan, I'm not seeing any problems anymore

I'll be going to:
Southend
Luton
Millwall
Gillingham
Brighton
Bournmouth
Leyton Orient

A couple of days at the seaside following your team, I'm going to enjoy myself. The last couple of seasons have been a laugh, I'd like us to be back up there but it's not killing me

:)

How ironic that Derby County will probably send Leeds down. I'll bet Brian Clough is having a laugh in the celestial boozer.

Going to Millwall is no bother at all

Have other posters had trouble there?

I've been about six times and it's been ok

:)

Once - like WW3 - barricaded the road singing rule Brittania and a lovely riot afterwards.

Our fans taking on fully clad riot police bared handed

Nice

Yeah, Millwall's no fun for Leicester fans (unless you're part of the Baby Squad, of course).. I believe there's a total ban now.

Leeds have sent Ipswich an apology!

Leeds chief executive Shaun Harvey wrote: "To all Ipswich Town supporters who attended Elland Road on Saturday, 28th April, 2007.

"I am writing on behalf of both the club and the vast majority of Leeds supporters to apologise for the actions of a minority of our supporters whose behaviour, during the pitch invasion that occurred, was indefensible.

"To all those Ipswich supporters who were injured by the actions of our so-called supporters we hope you make a speedy recovery. And to those for whom the experience of witnessing the events is giving them second thoughts about attending fixtures to watch Ipswich away from Portman Road in the future, then please be assured that what you saw on Saturday was the exception not the rule.

"The actions of a few are condemned by both the club and the majority of our supporters.

"I think the reaction both during the incident and post-match from the majority of genuine Leeds fans spoke volumes for their thoughts as to the behaviour of the minority that get this club a bad name.

"While we will not meet next season in the league, we look forward to you all returning to Elland Road in the future where the welcome will be a warm one and not a repeat of Saturday.

"The club will be working with West Yorkshire Police in the forthcoming weeks to identify as many of those as possible involved on Saturday and, when they are caught, they can expect a lengthy ban from Elland Road.

"Once again, I apologise for the actions of a minority of our supporters that spoilt the day."

Bless!

Eh? I've been there 3 times with Cardiff and there's certainly been ample bother. Last time, I had to go all the way over to Hammersmith to pick up a CCFC coach as we were only allowed in if we were on official buses.

Rumours circulating that Bates is taking them into administration now thereby avoiding the 10 point penalty next season.

Yes...

"Leeds United have been relegated to League One after being deducted 10 points for going into administration.
The 10-point deduction - in accordance with Football League rules - means Leeds will finish the season at the bottom of the Championship.

However, they will not lose any points for the start of their first season in League One in August."
