if a throw-in goes in

IIRC, there was a goal not too long ago from a defender who threw back to the goalie, who made a failed attempt to 'save' it, touching it to allow the goal to stand.

I thought it scrapes his studs, the referee and the goalkeeper' seem to think so. Just look at Enckleman's reaction, he thinks he's touched it - and the goal should stand. Unless of course a professional goalkeeper, playing at the highest level, doesn't understand the most basic rules of the game.....

I can remember Nipper Lawrence getting sent off for arguing with a referee about a goal direct from a throw in.
