Didn't fit in my camera though.

It doesn't go into your camera...you take the card out...put it into the card reader then put the cable into your PC USB port.

There's two little sockets in the front of my hard drive. I'm assuming one of them's a USB port?

What's the difference between those two things above? (I don't know what Compact Flash is)

PS: What I mean is, if I were to look onto Amazon for instance, to buy a Card Reader, what would I actually type to narrow the search down, as there's loads of card readers IFKWIM

for an f11?....xD-Picture Card reader fer U!...cable or without...depends on how easy your port is to get to...personally I would get one with a lead...sometimes you can't get the actual reader into the port alone because of case construction.

There are different leads for different purpose. IF you know BUGGERALL about digicams, USB and PCs I would get one with it!

Jus go into a Dixons/Comet/Jessops/PC World and buy one of their card readers for that type of card...prolly costya £20 max

Not bad - do some hunting and you can get an XD card for less than 20 quid though and you can pick up the camera in your high street for zero delivery.

Very true, and I did find a 512MB card for less than £14.94 last week but P&P comes to £4.50

I got mine in that deal and super quick delivery too, don't pay extra for the faster delivery, as mine arrived two days before express delivery was expected to arrive.

I didn't need a bundle of memory, as I've got loads already for my S5100.

Well when I bought my F11 in June, I think it was an extra £30-£50. The money I saved by NOT buying from Jessops, enabled me to spend it on memory card
