Ideal

I've seen a couple of episodes, it's a bit hit and miss...

The last one I saw - when JV did a load of mushrooms by accident and had a great party was a good one, even the tunes at the party were good! :cool: :cool: And the copper telling him to 'clean up' his flat because JV is getting busted on Monday for drugs! It's all quite dark, with the pregnant gf and everything...

I remember watching a couple of other episodes and thinking wtf??? (Like the one with the dead man, I always miss the beginning of it - must have seen it about 3x now - but I'm still trying to work out what that one was about)

Definetely better than Coupling... My Family: I quite like watching it with my son.

Really?! I'm a huge fan of the first three series, but last nights esipode felt like a pale shadow of it's former self. First they changed the set (completely different to the old flat, but they keep everything in narrow shot so as not to give it away too quickly), and none of the characters seem to be as sharp witted any more. Psycho Paaaaaul has been reduced to a grunting lunatic who exudes about as much malice as a marshmallow bouncy castle, the guy is still stuck in the water tank (c'mon, even a few days is pushing it), there don't seem to be any drugs any more (if I wanted a moral tale about a reforming drug dealer I could probably find it in the daily wail, thank you very much) and where were all those lovely sequences of sublime stoner chaos where Moz filled his jumper with pillows, stuck rizlas all over his face or spilt his takeaway on the decks?

Not impressed. I hope to hell they're leading up to something.

As an aside, would have missed this if my PVR hadn't picked it up. Has it been advertised at all?
 
well, after worrying that ideal isn't as funny as it used to be, tonight's episode certainly put paid to that. funny as fuck. it seems to be much better when nikki's not in it. dunno whether that's just cos of her character or the actress. she just seems to be as hammy as she was in human traffic, IMO. dunno about tracey beaker, though, never really paid much attention to her in that :hmm:

Coupling is shit, 2 Pints is slightly better shit and Ideal is quite good. However if you want really shit BBC3 comedy look no further than the latest crop of juvenile mind-bilge called Scallywagga
 
This week's episode (The Future, Series 4) is really good.

Lots of sillyness :cool: (I'm watching on IPlayer now)

OMG last night's was brilliant and absolutely heartbreaking! :o:(

I won't spoil it Tanky but it's a good one, and the k on pizza was really funny! :D
