    Anyone who makes the mistake of listening to TalkSport (like I do sometimes when really bored) will have noticed half of all the (endless) ads have incorporated the WC into their pitch. From ASDA to McDonalds to even builders' merchants selling drill bits. And the excuses for the plug are cringeworthy. "England might be out of the World Cup... but you can still celebrate this month with our amazing offers".
