Why wouldn't they? I have been who I say I am, on no real evidence, since the day I was born. What's changed?

Anyway, why would I care what anyone believes?

Well, if anecdotal tales of some of them refusing alcohol to anyone under 30 without ID are anything to go by, then I wouldn't bank them (and other shops) not playing along.

That's where the loss of custom of a very few legitimate customers who look young is balanced against the bad publicity from illegal sales (which would almost never lead to court action).

If a large number of middle class shoppers were cardless, no way would any supermarket link a card check to a sale.

Obviously the wider issue is more complex - the system rolls on without our individual compliance (unless a popular movement takes hold) and i suspect 'freemen' might not be eligible for whats left of the welfare system.

Earlier this week 12 people were arrested in Edinburgh at a No2ID arrest.

To my knowledge it is the largest number of arrests yet at an anti ID arrest.

Hoping this a slow but welcome start to a long, vigourous and successful resistance

As a relative gunieau pig (i never spell that right ) it does matter here actually. Resistance here will put a spoke in the plans for any other such menacing schemes across the EU.
