Ian Dury

Saw the Blockheads with Phil Jupitus at Eastern Haze a few years back - just confirmed you can't fill the old geezers new boots and PJ is just panties.

It was an age ago. Seem to remember asking him if he ever got over to watch West Ham much.
He didn't, but vaguely remember him talking about the Peak Freens biscuit factory, and the smell from it when he was on the bus. I think it was in Bermondsey.

That's a blast from the past!! I spoke with Ian dury about what had happened with the convoy at either kent custom bike show or / and Glastonbury in June 85 and he said he was gonna make a tribute tune. I didn't realise he had! They were hazy days

Happy birthday Ian.

Yes heard some recently it's a little bit 'samey' over a few tracks but nevertheless I like it.

Saw the Dury show at Stratford (London) theatre last year, can't remember the name of it. Was really really really good

ETA: Ah yes I remember, Sex and Drugs n Rock n Roll

I saw the first Stiff tour back when the world was younger. Ian Dury, Elvis Costello, Wreckless Eric and more people?. Excellent.

Me too, yes a different world and an excellent tour.

ETA: By pure coincidence I found my 'Honorary Blockhead' badge yesterday! :)
