The whole of the Stone Roses first album was basically a merging of Rain by the Beatles and Child of the Moon by The Stones with a brief interlude of Simon and Garfunkel....so it is no surprise

I don't think it's too bad. I've always liked him and I'm pleased he's gone back to the solo stuff after making an absolute mint out of the Stone Roses reunion.
