In defence of the iPod, not Apple, the iPod does not need iTunes (I've never ever used itunes and I've had an iPod since the 1st one) and it is recognised as a removable hard disk, something I've found very useful.

Can you drag and drop ordinary MP3s on an i-thingy ?

The SONY players seemed to insist you converted everything to their format.

Well, if you don't wanna pay for the name and the sleek tin, then go Creative.. not sure what they're current Nano rival is called though.
 
Cool just got a 1GB Creative zen nano fro mAamazon for 28 quid and spent the rest of the money (I was gonna folishly spend on a sleek, so sexy but 100fucking quid ipod) on a new camera :cool:
