i think i saw johnny depp on the tube yesterday

he attended the uk premiere last night according to the beeb, and the facial hair was exactly as the guy i saw.

just so you know, like!

Yes, but according to the Metro he only 'arrived in London' yesterday... :(

Although I much prefer to think that bluestreak did see him on the tube!

I once served him at Virgin on the Kings Road - all the ladies were swooning and couldn't operate the till, so I had to step in

One of my flatmates was almost peeing her pants at the thought of Depp being in London.

...I may have let out a little trickle or two myself :o

I used to see Kyle McLachlan quite a lot around Victoria Park in around 2003 - think he was in a West End play at the time.

If it had been 1992 Twin Peaks era, I might have swooned. Being in the midst of his Sex and the City turn, it's lucky he didn't get slapped.

You know he was just pretending, yeah?

A couple of amusing ones:

I used to live almost opposite Clapton (the guitarist, not the place beyond Lea Bridge Road) and as well as exchanging 'hello's' most mornings (he walked the school run), you'd chance across the most extraordinary people walking up the road.

For example, Ringo saw me out a tight parking bay once (Sunday morning). I forget, there were so many down that road.

Funny thing was I moved from living opposite Scott Gorham to opposite Clapton, trading up you see - it's almost inevitable really after so many years in London. Gorham was a lovely fellar, I remember he wanted some help indoors with a load of mattresses once - it was his idea of sound proofing . . .

Same local as George Best - even in his non-drinking years. He just wanted a quiet life did George.

London though, init.

you know, i'd like to think that on some celeb community forum somewhere there's a thread like this:
---------------------------------------------------------

i think i saw that bluestreak on the tube the other day
'johnny depp'

Stayed on til Brixton. Sure it was him, handsome looking fella, good facial hair.

I was going to post that, but being the good fella I am, I thought I'd leave it for someone else to do, cos I'm kind like that

Jason Solomons (i think it was he) was on BBC breakfast this morning, mentioned the fact that his friend had seen Heath Ledger on the tube last week He had been in the UK filming Terry Gilliam's new film, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.

Could it have been him you saw?
