So many particulars. So many questions.
Dexter?
it's pretty good, if a bit fluffy.

I'm a Buffy/Angel geek of the highest order (we finished a 7 season run of Buffy about 2 months ago), and have seen Reaper to the end of the first season...it improved greatly after the first 7 eps I have to say...
Carnival and Generation Kill both sound good and have been recommended to me.

Yeah i am a bit of an angel and buffy freak too. I think it was Charisma that made me a fan though.
I will have to catch the rest of Reaper I must say I think I got fed up with it about Ep 6, so I might check out the next couple, see how it pans out.

im not a gay or anything, but Desprate Housewives is rather good and funny to be honest![]()

.i wouldnt advise following the buffy suggestion, the show is rather poor and that women also ruined a few Battlestar Galatica episodes.
I was thinking about Jericho...any comments/crits?
Insted of my normal utterances refering to job completion (jobs a good'un, roberts yer fathers brother etc) I have been rasping 'Gary thinks we're slayin dragons' and describing plant to plant moves on the site as being Oscar Mike. If my coleauges didn't already think me a dick, they do now.

I haven't watched Buffy lately and it may not have aged well but in my mind it was one of the first shows of this Golden Age of US television, which happened when the networks suddenly realised that in america there was a (a) a lot of tv and (b) a lot of intelligent people - and they decided to bring them together to create intelligently written shows. Previously the intelligent people had worked for NASA and other government agencies and the tv shows had been written by stupid people. The unfortunate side effect of the newly intelligent tv is that the US government is now run by extremely stupid people. It all has to balance out you see![]()

I liked Jericho, but the big problem is that they always did things halfway. When they nuked Denver they should have really NUKED Denver. What they gave us was a tiny little mushroom cloud in the distance.
They did everything that way. I think it was supposed to be an artistic choice regarding how isolated they were in Kansas, but it didn't work. IMHO.
well thats your gripe, mine was the shit acting, 2-d characterisation and scmaltz on tap nature of the prog. That and the insultingly inconsistent plotting

Read the thread dude - I recently finished an all 7 seasons run thru of BTVS.
Are you anti-Buffy? And who was in Buffy that was also in BSG?
That's the best political theory for the current situation I've ever seen!![]()
i wasnt talking about character i was talking about writter.
