You are kind of right! The other day I was passing by the local "hand-out taxpayers money" office in London and saw a girl queing wearing a GUCCI (???!!!) bag. God only knows what would Gucci think seeing this. Probably hers came from a Portobello market! So OK, if you are not haveing the whole set (and if you queue in the Council housing opportunity section) don't buy one

I like this one, at Next. I would also scan TK Maxx. I never have an expensive bag cause I think that unless you look like you can afford the perfume, shoes and knickers to match, the look is all wrong.
