I'd edit your post and remove the addresses, web spiders will nab 'em for spam lists if you leave them up!

It’s kind of both. New accounts are ‘Googlemail‘, old accounts can use either ‘gmail’ or ‘googlemail’.

whenever someone types a email address like [email protected] it can change it to something like this mail {at} nospam(.)com .

Not really : a good obfuscater will leave the address as a click able item, but not able to be harvested by spam bots...
