They are great for when you just cant be bothered but want something yummy. cheese and roasted veggies is also lush.

Do you have to roast the veggies then put them in the sandwich maker? Sounds like far too much effort.

yeah but if your like me you do a huge batch of veggies for dinner and then keep some back to chuck in your sarnie the next day -see not that bad really.

They are a bastard to clean though. I have used mine once.

I also bought a thing of QVC which fries stuff in the microwave. Despite being I have only used it once for the same reason.

I bought a sandwich toaster for £1 from a jumble sale more than 10 years ago and it's still going strong. It's a bit manky but we just don't look at that.

Cheese and onion toasties are well good. Must pop across the road and get one; won't be as good as a brevilled one though.
