You did if you've ever bought a computer which had windows come with it. It wasn't free.

Anyway, I expect you've bought admission to a club at some point, or a cake, or, oh, I don't know.

Yeh I have paid for concerts and stuff, but its not quite the same.

Sez you! Actually, gig admission and experience-based payments like that are even _less_ permanent than MP3s. I suppose you might put the ticket stub in a scrapbook or take a bootleg or something.

It is just weird.

MP3's have just always been something I got for free. It doesn't feel right to pay for them.

But saying that, I used my card, so its almost like they are free anyway.

I use the Beatport interface through my version of Traktor for any songs I know i'm going to use in my sets. I'll only buy wav's though and convert them to FLAC.

When looking for music i'll shamelessly download the mp3s
