I have just been colour analysed!

Yeh got me right too. It's fun if you get a good analyst!

Why not contact Amway somehow moomoo? Unless it's changed...you can have a lil party thing with a few friends and get colour analysed free basically (although I had one a long time ago). They try n encourage you to buy their makeup etc which is quite nice or was...but ya don't have to.

Don't do it! Don't encourage them!

No, I read Jazzz's link. ;)

see that's no good, you have to pay people loads of money to spend hours draping different colours over you personally, or it'll never work.

I'm quite tempted, as it goes. :o

But I range from pasty see-through celtic white to dusky south mediteranean olive, depending on the weather, so how am I going to suddenly suit a particular shade of rags? Will I have to get it done every week as the weather changes? :hmm:

How come there is only one mention of 'African and Asian' people briefly in 'winter' only and then the rest of the seasons are geared towards caucasians where the skintone range is probably broader in the former?

well quite - i did think this too.

oh well, they don't cater for sallow/olive birds with dark hair and eyes either madz.

bunch o' cunts. :)

I did, and seemed to be like all of them in some way.

Maybe you are like me and can wear most colours..

If you feel unsure about what suits you, ask a trusted mate to go shopping with you. My friends always need a push to buy what suits them, they are inclined to stick with safe and boring.

And what's wrong with safe and boring? Black is the fat girls friend...we're inseparable, and devoted to each other...longest relationship I've ever had. Colour Me a different colour so wouldn't work for me - I don't do colour ever.

Black is not necessarily flattering though, especially as you get older. :)

Well I've just had my first shopping expedition and it's really been helpful. I've been pretty hopeless at buying clothes so this makes a sound blueprint. I've bought a fair amount of navy-dark blue stuff (I am now ignoring light-blue jeans) and it does seem to work really well on me. Shame they didn't have the indigo cords in the right size.

I have about one bin-liners'-worth of stuff to get rid of (contains beige, brown, or gold, or muted colour) and I completely feel right about chucking them.

hurrah for new wintry me!
