I HATE knitting!

I only meant the full on, totally finished garm/whatever...I'm very familar with the unravelling and starting again mid-making!

And LOL! at your stitches breeding - there must be something in the air. I'm knitting a jumper that has 72 stitches when I cast on. Now there are about 85! Oh well!

If you want to keep unravelling, then use a lifeline, basically, run a bit of cotton thread or embriodery floss down between the needle and the stitches at intervals, then if you make a huge mistake, that is the furthest you need to unravel.

That will fit nice around my waste appendage when finished then with a little bit of extra at the bottom :)

whilst I was learing the first stitch of a new row was always a bit saggy, its got better but its not perfect yet

make sure when you stitch that you remember to take the stitch off the needle and don't stitch it twice :)

I think this is what I've been doing to generate all the extra stitches!

I haven't fathomed what is going on with the first stitch - I keep ending up with the yarn in the wrong place to form the stitch.
