'I fucked Thatcher'

Have you never heard of 'being framed' - in personal experience the police have tried to frame me a few times... The way they try to 'resolve' crimes leaves a lot to be desired...
Yes the police do frame people, but not just working class ones.

The prisons are full of working class people, without exception, always have been... Well since prison joined the factory during the industrial revolution to enforce work discipline anyway... Prisons, like the police, were born during the transition from feudalism to industrial capitalism - no accident. And like law changes too, they are aimed at controlling the working class, because they are working class... the multitude.:D
Nope prisons are there to punish/reform criminals and to keep the dangerous ones away from society.

You're implying that there are no middle class people in prisons and that laws don't apply to them either, which is complete bollocks.

And to serve as a constant threat to enforce good behaviour amongst the lower orders.

Anyone who wants to remove class consciousness from an analysis of how the courts decide to punish someone is severely limiting their analysis. I have seen it happen inumerable times, a promising young university student with great prospects gets a discharge for a thousand Es whilst a black man from South London with no references to call upon gets six months for a nine bar of weed... to pick one glaring example from what I witnessed amongst a group of acqaintances a few years back.
