That's better than what it actually does mean :D

(for the win ;))

Ooh how exciting
Stella McCartney and D&G created some beautiful horse / pony print dresses a few years back
Don't have time to google for pics but they were really nice
That dress is lovely, I like halternecks a lot, only I need more support up top than that one has :o
:)

Well this vaunted cheaper version wasn't in any of the shops! The one on the first page is £95 and is a bit Hollyoaks in its cut for me. So no pony dress for Pie.

Still. It was nice while it lasted.

OOhhh lovely dress!! Shame ya not getting it :(

Pony and animals printed like that on clothes are SO this season

I've got a big party beg. of July to go to and I want a 40's/50's style dress too.
Will start the hunt soon.

Hope you find something PieEye! :)

Dammit!!! The pony dress option has been and gone before I can even post a view. Anyways, it sounded a bit suspicious at first, but was just lovely. Maybe you need to save up for it? Hope you find something nice for the wedding :)

What a shame you're not getting it :(

I think there is a gap in the market here that Robinsons' or someone ought to fill pronto :D

Oh well

trot on! :D:D:cool:

:(

You could always de-hollyoaks it with a tasteful brooch? :)

I'm pissed off that they had a different and BETTER one in a magazine for less money but no one appears to have it in stock!

Maybe it's coming out later :hmm:

They get things early sometimes don't they in magazines??

I've had this before - where I've seen something in a magazine which I like and when I get to the shop they have something similar but not quite the same.

I wonder if they make up samples for the magazines and then sometimes what goes into production isn't the same thing?

This can be the case!!! Though it's not really a good idea for a developing company to do this as they can end up with a reputation. Some people would say that any press is better then no press.

There is also the problem that the sample might actually be really expensive to produce at a low enough cost so that the company is able to sell it at a certain price point. Therefore, a simpler version at lower price.

yep - this happens loads. Vogue and Elle are shooting for late Autumn editions so they will photograph stuff that might end up being problematic to produce or they might not have the correct price for an item.

The buggers - I would have thought French Connection would organised!

Anyway - I was told of 3 separate pony dresses by someone on saturday night, but I was hammered and can;t remember who...

I think it was Tanky :hmm: I shall pm her...

Look at this peony dress. It's almost identical to the pony one you wanted
