The abolition of the EU seems like an overwhelming goal but there are many intermediate steps. The UK's withdrawal would certainly be a significant turning point for the institution as a whole, and you can contribute towards this by helping to elect Eurosceptic candidates to all levels of government. It's even worth writing regularly to your local paper and putting the pro-British point of view on local issues. I do this quite often and it never fails to produce a useful debate and help people to understand how deep the tentacles of disEUtopia reach into British public life.
