I've never read a good posting with "lol" in it.

By and large I prefer to avoid smileys and make my point with words instead. I do occasionally employ the "eyebrows" smiley though, since its whole point is that words have become superfluous.

I am convinced my kitten chewed, or did something else malign to, my TV cable.

Haven't had decent reception since, despite forking out £200 for an aerial.

I nearly got my own back on the little minx at the weekend - she was so quiet (for a change) that I mistook her for my handbag & nearly took her to see 'The Double Life of Veronique'.

For proper wire-chewing action, get a house rabbit.

It's the only way to be sure, and it makes reaching down to unplug something so much more exciting!
