Hurrah! The 2nd series of Lost starts tonight!

You're not sad - just been sucked into Lost in the way May hasn't.

I'm watching Alias at the moment, and that's just as nonsensical, full of conspiracy and an element of cardboard cut-outness about it...doesn't stop it being involving and engrossing tho.

And Jen Garner is a hottie.

I quite like bits of Lost - the story between Mike and Walt, Sun and Jin, Sawyer and Sayid.

But the rest of chracters annoy the bejesus out of me. I really couldn't give a shit about them or their back stories. Stop with the flashbacks! And Episode 2 contained about 10 minutes from Episode 1!

I'm done with Lost. If they want to keep their viewers they should be consistent with their showings. One week on, two or three weeks off will quickly kill any interest I have in a program.

well at least the last 4/5 ( 5 being that the last is a double ) episodes ( where it really hots up apparently ) are being shown with no breaks :)

They didn't do that the first series. Although with big brother coming up they may be annoying, although 10pm on a Tuesday shouldn't clash.

I've seen up to episode 11, but am going to wait now and watch on TV as it takes the enjoyment out of it a bit.

I love it. I like seeing the back stories although there is too much Jack in my opinion. Want more Sawyer, preferably in his pants. Ahem.

Also want to see some gay loving between Hurley and Charlie. Or someone. More romance in any case. They've been there for ages and only Sayid has got laid. They should brew alcohol from fruit.

no but it directs you to www.thehansofoundation.org

once you sign up to the news letter it asks you for a password and that is..........................

youl have to pm me
:p
I'd rather you tell me how I can find it myself. In a roundabout way with lots of flashbacks and character development.

There's also a weird bunch of vaguely foreign-sounding gobbledegook with some recognisable words thrown in -"Magna Carta", for example.

I'm not clicking on that website, I don't want spoilers.

its not that cryptic , just look for something on the sign up page.....or just goto one of the lost sites and cheat

and i dont think its got any spoilers on it , its part of the interactive game to ' apparently ' run along side the show , anything for more money eh?

I caught up with Lost over the weekend, and up to episode 3 (shown on C4 tonight)

I'm fecking loving it. It's total genius telly, and no mistake! I'm certainly getting a better idea of what's going on, and why people are there etc (or at least forming my own better ideas)

episode 2 and 3 were both bollocks

someone tell me it gets better or I give up here and now :(

I thought the first three episodes were pretty good.

I'm a sucker for a bit of contrived tension-building as well (countdown clocks always have me on the edge of my seat)

It's likeable enough, but anyone who's hoping that things slot into a coherent and logical way, with the story progressing, is fooling themselves.

It's style over substance every time. It's not about the story in most ways; it's the cryptic and convoluted way of telling it that gains the attention. All that backstory nonsense is just mildly diverting guff. And most of it just ends up retelling cliched situations in a vaguely mystical way - the whole firt series ending at them peering down a hole ffs and we had to spend a whole episode 'agonising' over the decision to press the button and/or be attacked by 'savage' native hunters and being encaptured in a pit, the likes I haven't seen since those 1960s Tarzan flicks.

I can watch it happily enough, but it's hardly getting worked up about. Overhyped but watchable.

I think one day they'll fuck up the computer thing, find some way of escaping the island assuming something bad is gonna happen. Get back to land except its been completely destroyed and nothing remains anywhere on earth, apart from this one island but they don't know how to get there anymore because they are truly lost! DUM DUM DUM!1111

I liked the ads for the Hanso Foundation scattered throughout the episodes.

does anybody know any more about this??

theres a website that says i dont have the correct version of flash and wiki articles for hanso foundation and dharma that contain spoilers so i wont read them.

my mate rang the number and said it goes through to loads of peoples voicemails each with an odd message

without giving away the plot does anybody know what gives??

It's Lost! I can't imagine any fan would think it's going to become coherent and logical in the near future. Half the appeal for me is the whole "wtf?!" aspect and not actually having a clue what's going on.

totally agree with you ;)

I am up to episode 18 of S2 thanks to bit torrent and still have no idea of what's going on. (though somethings have tantalisingly been revealed - sort of) Don't let that put you off though, it really is very, very good and worth sticking with.

Despite the frustration of never really finding fuck all out, I am thoroughly enjoying the ride. Lost is a genuis bit of telly.

I lost interest in series one when they started building fucking Golf courses or whatever it was.

But I'm enjoying this series a lot more. I got a bit emotional when they met Rose's husband last night!
