BBC says:

A number of leading websites are currently not working, including Amazon, Reddit and Twitch.
The UK government website - gov.uk - is also down as are the Financial Times, the Guardian and the New York Times.
Affected websites displayed the message: "Error 503 Service Unavailable".
Early reports suggested it could be related to Fastly, a cloud computing provider, which underpins a lot of major websites.
Fastly said it was looking into problems with its global content delivery network (CDN).
In an error message posted just before 11am BST Fastly said it was "currently investigating potential impact to performance with our CDN services."
It has not yet provided a formal statement.

I noticed quite a few embeds on here were showing errors too.

My work systems are not. It's taking hours to do usually very quick uploads. Against a 4pm deadline today. Frustrating

we've got it the other way round, it's really quick where it should be slow. this is going to affect my managers' attitudes in the months to come

i can hear it now, "but the last time you ran this report it took five minutes" :@

It's the young'uns trying to book vaccines, they're used to the online booking thing and have all sorts of devious page refresh things that they understand far far more than me. Broken the internet.
